It’s always bittersweet when something good has to come to an end, and sadly, we have arrived at the final Trick & Treat for this year. Title: I'm So Slick, I'll Fxxx Myself Year: 2025 Starring: Leana Lovings, Shay Sights Director: ??? Synopsis: After leading an intense aerobic workout, hot MILF Shay Sights goes into the bathroom to admire herself. The juice begins to flow before Shay collapses to the floor, and a beautiful, naked woman CRAWLS out of her back. - via Brazzers Lilith's Notes: This is a parody of The Substance Buy: Brazzers "Take care of yourselves, ladies." You'd have to be a fool not to realize that the premise of 2024’s The Substance isn't rife with porn possibilities. It's baked into its slippery DNA. An older lady former celebrity takes a potion and out pops her younger, flawless self. Of course one would want to hit that, ethical questions aside. Let’s pretend the viewer of this parody had never seen The Substance . If that’s the case, then what we’re watching is a confusing mess. What we are shown is an aging host of a fitness show (Played by Shay Sight...

It occurred to me that an unofficial tradition during the Halloween Trick & Treat is a mini-marathon. A tradition within a tradition, if you will. So, why stop now? Believe me when I tell you that Kage and I sat down to watch several short horror-adjacent erotic films over the weekend and very few of them left positive feelings. So few, in fact, that most of these reviews are going to be only a few sentences long. I renewed my Pink Label subscription for this.  Sigh. Title:  Succubus Year:  2020 Starring:  Alexa Nasha, Juan Lucho Director: Adrian Mur Synopsis:  A young man knows the power in the dark box of hell, he knows that if he can decipher it, will open and let out the evil inside. When someone opens the cube, witness the terrifying shape of the Succubus. Despite being tho...

Title: I Spit On Your Grave Year: 1978 Starring: Camille Keaton, Anthony Nichols Director:  Meir Zarchi Synopsis:  A young, beautiful career woman rents a backwoods cabin to write her first novel. Attacked by a group of local lowlifes and left for dead, she devises a horrific plan to inflict revenge. - Via Letterboxd.com Lilith's Notes: Near as I can tell, the marketing for this film is the origin of the phrase "No Jury would convict..." Buy: Amazon   "You want her total submission, you got it." Before Lilith Likes to Watch was an actual endeavor, I would sit down and force myself to endure relatively edgy films. You know, films that were banned, or low-brow, or just straight up porn. Films high society scoffed at, films that were infamous for all the wrong reasons. Films that one doesn’t mention in polite society. Don’t let your imagination run too wild. I knew my limits and I never dove into anything too terrible. I still have no interest in watching Mart...

Title: Videodrome Year:  1983 Starring: James Woods, Deborah Harry Director: David Cronenberg Synopsis:   As the president of a trashy TV channel, Max Renn is desperate for new programming to attract viewers. When he happens upon “Videodrome,” a TV show dedicated to gratuitous torture and punishment, Max sees a potential hit and broadcasts the show on his channel. However, after his girlfriend auditions for the show and never returns, Max investigates the truth behind Videodrome and discovers that the graphic violence may not be as fake as he thought. - Via Letterboxd.com Lilith's Notes: You know the Cronenbergs from Rick & Morty ? This is what they're talking about. Buy: Amazon   "I was made for that show." Some films are just on the verge of suitable for Lilith Likes to Watch. Sometimes there’s not enough meat, or the film is too into it’s own politics, or I’m just bored and have nothing to say. Videodrome rides the line where I can question if it’s right f...

Title: Lucky Bastard Year:  2014 Starring: Betsy Rue, Jay Paulson, Don McManus Director: Robert Nathan Synopsis:  Lucky Bastard is a “found footage” thriller about a porn website run by Mike that invites fans to have sex with porn stars. Dave is an eager young fan given a chance to have sex with the fabulous Ashley Saint. But everyone gets more than they bargained for in the seemingly mild-mannered Dave… with gruesome results. The film is captured by the “Lucky Bastard” porn cameras for a fresh take on the “found footage” genre. - via Letterboxd.com Lilith's Notes: Found footage. You don't see that on this blog too often, now do you? Buy: Amazon "Shoot everything, never stop shooting" Anticipation is a powerful aphrodisiac. I was first exposed to this film via its trailer by Kage, and had been waiting until Halloween to watch it just so it could have a spot in this year’s Trick & Treat. Then came the main event. Was all the build up worth it? Was I satisfied? ...
