Its soon revealed that they don't intend to have their own family -- they want HER to be their family! - Via Adult Empire Lilith's Notes: Let's explore a new kink! Buy: P ureTaboo | Adult Empire  | HotMovies "She's such a polite girl, isn't she?" Oh boy do I have a treat for you tonight folks! A film of middling quality to start, but as it continues the cracks really begin to show themselves and soon it's just a broken pile of rubble at our feet, twitching and whimpering and wonderi

Elle - Lilith Likes to Watch

Image
Title: Elle Year:  2016 Starring:  Isabelle Huppert Director: Paul Verhoeven Synopsis:  When Michèle, the CEO of a gaming software company, is attacked in her home by an unknown assailant, she refuses to let it alter her precisely ordered life. She manages crises involving family, all the while becoming engaged in a game of cat and mouse with her stalker. - Via Letterboxd.com Lilith's Notes: It's Paul Verhoeven. There's no way this could fail right? Right? Buy: Amazon "I'm the boss here." Go watch the trailer for this movie. Go ahead. I’ll even link it to you for your convenience. Don’t worry, it’s safe for work. Watch it. I’ll wait. Back? Great. Doesn’t that trailer just scream slick rape revenge thriller? Well, too fucking bad because if you thought that than you, like me, have been deceived and are a victim of false advertising. This is not Verhoeven’s return to sultry thrillers like Basic Instinct . No. Instead this is apparently a satire. Of what, I

Bliss and Nylon Double Feature - Lilith Likes to Watch

Image
Very rarely on Lilith Likes to Watch do I showcase a single performer. To my recollection I’ve only really done it once before with Owen Gray, though one could argue I’ve also done it for Angela White. Because, probably, a reviewer should do their best to remain relatively impartial and not play favourites. Counterpoint: A girl should know what she likes. Some years ago I watched, nay, slathered over the short horror porn Possession, starring Nat Portnoy. I can’t recall if it was my first exposure to her but it definitely cemented her in my memory. She was one to watch out for. Portnoy is 80 percent charisma, 15 percent physical performance and 5 percent hair flips. She is a presence. Since then my viewings of her films have been few but I’m always up for it, and happy when her work crosses my periphery. So, this week, Kage and I decided to do a Nat Portnoy double feature, and bring to the attention of you, the fellow pornoisseur a pair of pretty Portnoy scenes. Title:  Bliss Year:  20

Spooky Short-Films Marathon - Lilith Likes to Watch Halloween Trick & Treat 2024!

Image
It occurred to me that an unofficial tradition during the Halloween Trick & Treat is a mini-marathon. A tradition within a tradition, if you will. So, why stop now? Believe me when I tell you that Kage and I sat down to watch several short horror-adjacent erotic films over the weekend and very few of them left positive feelings. So few, in fact, that most of these reviews are going to be only a few sentences long. I renewed my Pink Label subscription for this.  Sigh. Title:  Succubus Year:  2020 Starring:  Alexa Nasha, Juan Lucho Director: Adrian Mur Synopsis:  A young man knows the power in the dark box of hell, he knows that if he can decipher it, will open and let out the evil inside. The Succubus will appear, a female demon, exciting, morbid, and thirsty for sex. But do you really know how far this demon is able to get through sex in a claustrophobic atmosphere? When someone opens the cube, witness the terrifying shape of the Succubus. Despite being thousands of years old, her

I Spit On Your Grave - Lilith Likes to Watch Halloween Trick & Treat 2024!

Image
Title: I Spit On Your Grave Year: 1978 Starring: Camille Keaton, Anthony Nichols Director:  Meir Zarchi Synopsis:  A young, beautiful career woman rents a backwoods cabin to write her first novel. Attacked by a group of local lowlifes and left for dead, she devises a horrific plan to inflict revenge. - Via Letterboxd.com Lilith's Notes: Near as I can tell, the marketing for this film is the origin of the phrase "No Jury would convict..." Buy: Amazon   "You want her total submission, you got it." Before Lilith Likes to Watch was an actual endeavor, I would sit down and force myself to endure relatively edgy films. You know, films that were banned, or low-brow, or just straight up porn. Films high society scoffed at, films that were infamous for all the wrong reasons. Films that one doesn’t mention in polite society. Don’t let your imagination run too wild. I knew my limits and I never dove into anything too terrible. I still have no interest in watching Mart

Videodrome - Lilith Likes to Watch Trick & Treat 2024!

Image
Title: Videodrome Year:  1983 Starring: James Woods, Deborah Harry Director: David Cronenberg Synopsis:   As the president of a trashy TV channel, Max Renn is desperate for new programming to attract viewers. When he happens upon “Videodrome,” a TV show dedicated to gratuitous torture and punishment, Max sees a potential hit and broadcasts the show on his channel. However, after his girlfriend auditions for the show and never returns, Max investigates the truth behind Videodrome and discovers that the graphic violence may not be as fake as he thought. - Via Letterboxd.com Lilith's Notes: You know the Cronenbergs from Rick & Morty ? This is what they're talking about. Buy: Amazon   "I was made for that show." Some films are just on the verge of suitable for Lilith Likes to Watch. Sometimes there’s not enough meat, or the film is too into it’s own politics, or I’m just bored and have nothing to say. Videodrome rides the line where I can question if it’s right fo

Lucky Bastard - Lilith Likes to Watch Trick & Treat 2024

Image
Title: Lucky Bastard Year:  2014 Starring: Betsy Rue, Jay Paulson, Don McManus Director: Robert Nathan Synopsis:  Lucky Bastard is a “found footage” thriller about a porn website run by Mike that invites fans to have sex with porn stars. Dave is an eager young fan given a chance to have sex with the fabulous Ashley Saint. But everyone gets more than they bargained for in the seemingly mild-mannered Dave… with gruesome results. The film is captured by the “Lucky Bastard” porn cameras for a fresh take on the “found footage” genre. - via Letterboxd.com Lilith's Notes: Found footage. You don't see that on this blog too often, now do you? Buy: Amazon "Shoot everything, never stop shooting" Anticipation is a powerful aphrodisiac. I was first exposed to this film via its trailer by Kage, and had been waiting until Halloween to watch it just so it could have a spot in this year’s Trick & Treat. Then came the main event. Was all the build up worth it? Was I satisfied?
