My world is in mild upheaval right now so this review is going to be brief.

We have been celebrating Halloween Trick & Treat five times running now and I live with increasing fear that we have worked our way through the cream of the crop and that, from here, there's nowhere to go but down.

I wanted to like The Devil's Ecstasy. It had a great title, it opens with a statue of Baphomet, it could have been dripping with 70s Satanic sexiness. But by God was I bored. Even now I couldn't tell you a single thing about the intimacy scenes.

Helen (Played by Cyndee Summers) learns her mother has died so she goes to learn more. She learns from her aunt (Played by Tara Blair) that satanic worship was involved. She also learns she had a twin sister. Sacrifices are made.

When Helen doesn't return, her paramour tracks her down. Or does he?

It reminded me a lot of The Sexocist, a woman in voice over travels to a place too discover a sinister, sexy truth. In fact it's practically the same movie.

Look, this was made in a post-Miss Jones world. Cheap, unalluring, unremarkable drivvle like this should be brushed aside. It was a boring, confusing, cheap, ugly mess.

I know I say the worst thing you can do is bore me but in this case, I'm not even mad. I just absolutely do not care in the slightest.

Best Moment: The opening shot was a statue of Baphomet.

Worst Moment: I was so bored and confused.
