It’s always a struggle, isn’t it? I like to believe the majority of people are good but that outlook has been challenged a lot over the last few years. I like to behave like a good person in my porn consumption habits, and the industry is trending that way as well.
One of the pioneers of ethical porn is a creator I’ve mentioned many, many times on this site: Erika Lust.
Supporting the good folks is the right thing to do.
This week, I picked some XConfession episodes a la carte for my viewing pleasure. There is no rhyme or reason, they just looked interesting so I snapped them up.
So how did they measure up?
We began with...
CHICAZO
“You've been great.”
A man (Played by Tyler Nixon) walks into a brothel and sits down in front of a stage. Out comes an attractive woman (Played by Luna Corazon) wearing disheveled men’s clothing. Slowly, she strips off her clothes to the song Tango Katastrophe by Hermot. Once she is nude, they both pleasure themselves to completion.
This short was a strong start to the evening. The lady is beautiful and and her dance was engaging. She had both command of the scene, and inherent gracefulness. The scene builds tension because the viewer wonders, will she invite him on stage? Will they touch? Personally I hoped they wouldn’t touch.
The lights go down and the screen fades to black. The setting changes to outside a building for one final scene. I initially thought this scene unnecessary, but something is revealed that puts the entire short film in a different perspective.
This is a very simple offering but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

NOIR & DARYL
"I'm definitely submissive, and he's definitely dominant."
A duo of musicians open up about their relationship. They do a deep dive into their personal dynamic and share how they met, how they got together, and what it is that make them work.
They share with the film maker a time where they were engaged in a threesome and Daryl came inside the other woman, and Noir has to process the emotions that come from breaking that boundary. Personally I felt Noir was completely justified in her feelings.
They perform a song written about the incident and, well, the music isn’t bad. It’s like the band Kittie, if Kittie had insomnia and hadn’t slept for a month. I mean that as a compliment. The lyrics to the song itself are unsubtle and very on the nose. There is no metaphor or symbolism here.
Noir and Daryl have sex and their connection is obvious. It’s a testament to how some people are just made for one another.
I Googled the band, Sex Kult, and found very little.
This whole episode was an intimate, enjoyable expose on the relationship of two creatives. Nothing else really need be said.

HUNT ME CATCH ME EAT ME
A bunny girl (Played by Alexa Tomas) is frolicking in the woods, where she is prowled upon by a fox (Played by Joel Tomas). Spooked, she runs and the fox takes chase.
The fox catches her, picks her up, and puts her on the dinner table.
And then they remove their masks, thus, abandoning the whole set up. Goddamnit.
I hope they didn’t try to market this to furries because then there would have been huge disappointments.
The whole scene is kind of cute if you takes it simply as a couple having a fun game, but from a furry standpoint, or from someone who likes a story with their porn, it’s rather disappointing once the masks come off.

GIRL FIGHT CLUB
It looks great, and is dripping with style and pastiche but this could have easily been a two-hour long parody porno and that would have only made it better. This was proof of concept, give me the whole thing.

TOUCH CRIMES
A man (Played by Maximilian Gambero) and a woman (Played by Luna Corazon) in a future dystopia are apprehended for the crime of touching. They’re registered, locked in full-body stockings and magnetized to the wall. The woman breaks free and sees several prisoners. She manages to find her partner in crime and free him. Giving into their base urges, they rip apart their fabricated confines and fuck there on the floor.
I was astounded by how much I loved this. With very little flair and a lot of imagination, this story is stylish and incredibly memorable. It’s full of atmosphere and beautiful shots and the performers are great to look at.
The only critique I have of this film is that there are a lot of sudden cuts to different positions and angles and that sort of interrupts the flow. But I believe that effort and creativity should be rewarded.
Watch this. This is astonishing.

HORNY BEASTS
I confess, this short was what kicked off this whole adventure through XConfessions for this week. I saw a glimpse of both this and Chicazo in the opening to other XConfessions shorts and they called to me. Was it worth the hunt?
A woman (Played by Misha Cross) runs through an art nouveau space, tracked by several men in leather animal masks. They move like feral beasts and when they catch her, they pass her back and forth in a dance. Intercut, we see two of the beasts (Played by Max Deeds and Juan Lucho) having their way with her. This goes on for a while but it’s always teasing interest. Finally, the two beasts and the beauty find a quiet room in which to fuck like dogs.
This was a lot more aggressive and porny than anything else in this lineup, but it earns its animalistic fucking by design. There was a vision here and it was seen through the logical conclusion. It’s about what I expected and I was not disappointed.
At one point one guy lifts his mask to kiss the woman, and she could have licked his mask, or bit it, or something. Hands off the muzzle!
LILITH'S SCORE: 4.5 out of 5
Best Moment: Perhaps all of Touch Crimes...
Worst Moment: I was a little disappointed they dropped the whole rabbit/fox thing so quickly in Hunt Me, Catch Me, Eat Me.

GIRL FIGHT CLUB
"How much can you know about yourself if you've never been in a fight?"This could have been good, and even me saying that does a disservice. This was good, but it was essentially a thirty second clip show of scenes from Fight Club, recast by women, then two women (Played by Sylvia Rubi and Viktoria Vaar) fuck for 20 minutes. Tyler (Played by Viktoria Varr) has such control of the situation it’s amazing and her techniques are stellar.
